VEXED BOTTOM MEAT
The Vexed Bottom Meat is the first hybrid jig/bait assist of its kind in the world. Whether it's a full moon, northerly wind, strong current, dud tide, cold water temp? Everyone has put a little sneaky bit of bait on a jig head right? Well I'm sure guilty of it and was sick of missing monster bites , not to mention having bait ripped off my jig head. It was 2am one morning when this idea woke me up and out to the shed I went to used a bit of creativity. Long story short the Vexed Bottom Meat was born and we are into the 3rd improved design now using a circle hook on the top and a glow/UV skirt for more attraction and a target for the fish to attack the top circle hook. I designed these with 3 hooks rather than 2 because 3 hooks hold a longer fish strip bait, whole squid or octopus leg straight. A straight streamlined bait glides to the bottom faster and better presented than a bent up flappy bait with 2 hooks in it. The bottom meat can be used on a slow pitch PE1.5-PE 3 outfit far more effectively than a tradition paternoster rig.
